Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest over the weekend, but sadly, not without some drama. Her aunt Leolah Brown got vocal during the funeral. Leolah Brown interrupted another aunt, Pat Houston, by reportedly yelling, "Pat you know you are wrong for this!" She then left the church to walk outside and speak to reporters. It was then that she said, "This has only just begun. We are on to Pat and shewill be found out. She is a Garland and not a Houston. Whitney will rise from her grave to haunt her." Also, Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon wasn't there. He begged the family to let him come and they said no. Let the girl be laid to rest in peace!
Charlize Theron is a mommy, again! She's adopted her second child and the baby's name is August. This news comes just over a month after Charlize Theron called off her engagement to Sean Penn. Khloe Kardashian has been working hard on her fitness and it looks like her hard work has paid off! Khloe Kardashian has officially lost 35 pounds! She used working out as a stress reliever, saying, "Even after 30 minutes you feel, 'Okay, I feel good about myself." It's good to have dedication not only pay off, but it's good to be healthy!
Valerie Harper wants the world to know that she's ok after the rumor is that she's in a coma! She got on Facebook over the weekend and wrote, "My dear friends and fans! As always, thank you for your amazing support. I am happy to report I am not, nor have I been, in a coma. As anyone who has taken strong medication knows, it doesn't always agree with you, even with me as this experience proves. I am confronting these hurdles with my usual enthusiasm and love of life. Nashville it's known for it's music hosting country music's biggest stars, and this weekend was no different. That's because Shania Twain brought her tour into town along with a special guest in the audience, Miranda Lambert! Maybe Shania Twain is helping Miranda Lambert get over her divorce from Blake Shelton because after the show, the two posed for an Instagram photo that Shania Twain posted with the caption, "Girls night, love seeing you! #RockThisCountry." Wonder where they went!
Chris Brown has some baby momma drama. She's in fear of the safety of their daughter when she's alone with him, so she's asking a judge to only let Chris Brown see their one year 1-year-old daughter Royalty when someone else is around. She thinks Chris Brown is too irresponsible to care for a kid and just filed the legal documents for supervised visitation. Chris Brown has filed his own documents to establish paternity so he can fight for joint custody. So far the judge has not made a ruling Can't we all just get along?
Kelly Clarkson has been getting a lot of attention during her tour for covering songs of other artists, and that's because the covers are fantastic. Jon Stewart, who departs this week as host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, was taken to task last week by a variety of news outlets who reported two secret meetings between the talk show icon and the President of the United States.
Why? Because the president needed Jon's support in promoting his social and political agenda.
When I say the slide you're about to see is sick, that means it's good.
Yeah, I don't understand that either, but that's got nothing to do with it.
Over the weekend, Kendrys Morales of the Kansas City Royals made the most brilliant move at home plate and/or was the luckiest guy in Missouri - your pick.
Morales is the DH for KC - not known for his speed. He's on second base when his teammate hits a single, and he's off to the races.
The throw from the outfield was dead-on, and Morales should have been out.
The catcher grabbed the ball - perfect throw, perfect catch - and went for a sweep tag of Morales foot. But Morales pulled up short, the tag missed, the momentum took the catcher's glove out of the base path, and Morales just stepped around him to score.
Incredible. Especially when you consider that Morales once broke his ankle jumping on home plate to celebrate a grand slam.
