Will weather affect the event?
Star Spangled Celebration will be presented rain or shine. Performances may be postponed or cancelled if weather conditions are deemed unsafe.
What can I bring?
Blankets are welcomed. Coolers are OK too, just leave the glass at home. Lawn chairs OK too. No umbrellas in the event field. Pets on a leash OK but we do not recommend it because of the heat!
What can’t I bring into the park?
Bicycles, recording devices, glass bottles, laser pointers, lawn chairs, oversized umbrellas, recording equipment, roller blades, roller skates, water guns. No thrown objects such as baseballs, footballs, Frisbees, etc… No weapons or personal fireworks; no fireworks of any kind. Food and beverages, including beer, are available from the concessionaires.
Well, I’ll just hide it in my purse then.
All purses and packages are subject to inspection. Just be cool and play by our rules.
What do I need to attain alcohol?
Picture IDs will be required from everyone purchasing alcohol.
Will the concessionaires accept credit cards?
All food must be purchased with cash.
Will Star Spangled stop letting people in at any point?
If it is determined that the park has reached capacity, for the sake of crowd safety and enjoyment, Star Spangled reserves the right to refuse admission. Admission is first-come, first-served.
Can I act a fool?
Good question. Star Spangled reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person violating rules, violating local, state, and/or federal laws, or doing anything which is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive. In other words, please don’t act a fool.
Can I bring my camera?
I guess I forgot to cover that earlier. Good catch. Cameras are allowed. However, professional cameras and/or cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited.
And recording equipment?
Now that I know I covered earlier. Weren’t you listening? Recording equipment is not allowed in the park during Star Spangled and may be confiscated.
