Looks like all the changes couldn’t save this show! After three seasons of diminishing returns and ratings, The X Factor USA has officially been canceled. Producer and judge Simon Cowell has tried to put a positive spin on all of this. It was announced on Friday that he's returning to the judges' table at "The X Factor U.K.," which is a much more successful series that has created superstars like Leona Lewis and One Direction. Even hiring celebrities like Britney Spears, Khloe Kardashian and Demi Lovato couldn’t save the show! Well, looks like there’s always "The X Factor U.K.," where Simon Cowell may find the next One Direction or Cher Lloyd when he returns to that show in the fall! Will you miss the show?
Things continue to get more odd in the case of Justin Bieber being arrested a few weeks ago for drunk driving and drag racing in Miami. Some facts came out which proved that the cops may have lied about Justin Bieber was going. I reported that the Lamborghini that Justin Bieber rented has a GPS tracker which keeps a record of how fast the driver went. When the cops pulled him over, Justin Bieber was only going 27 miles per hour. But on the night/early morning in question, the machine registered Justin Bieber going 136 miles per hour around one in the morning! WAY. TOO. FAST! Yes that’s not when the cops caught him, but I’m being told that maybe the police missed their chance to catch him earlier in the night and were trying to make up for it! Either way, Justin Bieber is lucky that no one got hurt!
I want to be invited to this baby shower! Gwen Stefani celebrated her baby shower for her third child with a star-studded party over the weekend! She was joined by Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, and more as she played baby shower games and ate in Los Angeles. The private room was decked out in light blues and bouquets of white hydrangeas, a banner that said "SWEET," and the guests were greeted with glasses of red or white wine. Gwen Stefani arrived with Gwyneth Paltrow and was greeted by Chelsea Handler, Rachel Zoe, Kate Beckinsale, and Tobey Maguire's wife, Jen Meyer. I want to roll with them!
Could this be a new couple alert? Rihanna and Drake were caught in Los Angeles over the weekend in a night club! Rihanna kept a low profile when she arrived and walked in through the back, heading to Drake's private table. They hung out together until the hot spot closed. They didn’t show any PDA, but the two apparently looked very happy together all night! Although they left the club separately, Rihanna and Drake apparently still managed to hop into the same taxi. I think they would be really cute together! I’ll keep an eye out on this one!
Shia LaBeouf, why are you being so odd? Shia Labeouf has had a busy and bizarre few months, like getting into fights outside of bars… but the actor may have topped himself in Berlin over the weekend! During the premiere for his film Nymphomaniac, Shia LaBeouf showed up wearing a brown paper bag over his head. Yes, he was wearing a suit, but all eyes were on the bag, which read: "I Am Not Famous Anymore" in black sharpie marker. This is a comment he's been writing on his Twitter account almost every day since January. Shia LaBeouf's odd behavior in Berlin started earlier in the day during a press conference for the movie. He walked off after answering just one question. Don’t know what he’s trying to do, but if it’s bring attention to himself in a bad way, he’s doing it! No press is bad press maybe?
This is so crazy! First Jay Leno, now Jimmy Fallon! On Friday night Jimmy Fallon signed off from Late Night with a little help from his friends, The Muppets! He ended his 5-year run on the program by belting out The Band's "The Weight" before walking into his new Tonight Show studio! Jimmy Fallon played at the piano while the muppets, including Kermit the Frog, Little Miss Piggy, and Gonzo sang into their microphones. Earlier in the show, Jimmy Fallon shared highlights with the audience from over the years, and calculated that he's made over 10,000 monologue jokes in the show's 969 episodes! What I thought was really cool that he said… “I want to thank the fans. I can't believe it. This didn't exist five years ago. There was no such thing as this show five years ago. Isn't that crazy to even believe that? It means the world to me. You make me so happy. Thank you so much." Cant wait what he’ll do and bring next!
