This might be one of the most horrific interviews to watch! An L.A. news anchor mistook Samuel L. Jackson for Laurence Fishburne on live Television... and lets just say that Samuel L. Jackson completely lost it! He was doing an interview about his new movie "RoboCop" yesterday and for some reason, Entertainment anchor Sam Rubin decided to ask Samuel Jackson about his new Super Bowl commercial. But there's a HUGE problem… Samuel Jackson didn’t DO a Super Bowl commercial this year. Laurence Fishburne did. And that's when Samuel Jackson loses it.
Sam Rubin tries to apologize, but Samuel L. Jackson doesn’t let him off the hook! Hey, he deserved it!
Chris Kattan was arrested for DUI early this morning after his car struck a vehicle! TMZ is reporting that Chris Kattan even allegedly confessed he was on prescription medications! The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member was arrested on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley just after 1 in the morning. Another driver called in referencing a driver who was "weaving all over the roadway at slow speeds." Chris Kattan allegedly then crossed into an area that was coned off for a freeway closure and he hit a Department of Transportation vehicle from behind! Chris Kattan was not injured and apparently there was no one in the car that he hit. Chris Kattan appeared out of it. He was arrested and booked for DUI, specifically for drugs, NOT alcohol. These celebs never seem to learn their lesson or learn from others!
Kristen Stewart has made some mistakes in her life, and she also knows that she’s not good at certain things… but she’s speaking out about all of that! Kristen Stewart said, "People are like, 'She just can't handle' – for lack of a better word – 'the spotlight.' No, actually, I can't, and this is totally who I am. I don't try to force it or turn it into something else or fabricate this personality … so I totally agree when people say I'm, like, the most awkward person." Also, when it comes to her mistakes, potentially like the one where she cheated on Robert Pattinson was her married director, Kristen Stewart admits she lives a "fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lifestyle” and said, "I stand by every mistake I've ever made," she says. "So judge away." Trust us, we’re judging!
An alleged heroin dealer who was arrested after the sad death of Philip Seymour Hoffman says he and the late actor were friends who bonded over their mutual struggles with drug addiction. The dealer, who is currently in jail, offered his condolences to Philip Seymour Hoffman's family, but said that he's been made a "scapegoat" in the case as police look for answers to Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death! The dealer said, "He was my friend. I could have saved him. If I knew he was in town, I would've said 'Hey, let's make an AA meeting.' If I was with him, it wouldn't have happened. Not under my guard." Police say Philip Seymour Hoffman's number was found on the dealer’s cell phone. People witnessed Philip Seymour Hoffman getting heroin from him. But the dealer said when they were together it was more than a drug addiction that they had in common. They spoke about books, arts and things of that nature. Think he should be locked up in jail?
From one sad story to another. Julia Roberts’ half-sister, Nancy Motes, was found dead in her Los Angeles home over the weekend of an apparent drug overdose! The family released a statement saying, “It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose. There is no official report from the Coroner’s office yet. The family is both shocked and devastated.” Nancy Motes struggled with her weight her entire life and even claimed that taunting from Julia Roberts led her to take the extreme measure of gastric bypass surgery!
Nancy Motes told the NY Daily News last year, “She would make it quite clear to me and in a not-so-nice a manner” when it came to her weight! She said she was intimidated by her “very pretty and very popular” sister. How sad!
Is Katy Perry sitting at home trying to forget what aired on television yesterday? We were just talking yesterday how great Kay Perry and everyone else sounded during her performance of “Yesterday” on the tribute to the Beatles. Though she seemed to do the song justice, she rubbed big time Beatles fans the wrong way! Why? Well for starters, she changed the lyrics to the song and people were mad that she changed the lyrics to a CLASSIC Beatles song that was meant for a TRIBUTE. Then, people started tweeting that she DESTROYED the song! New York Times music critic Jon Pareles wrote in his review that Katy Perry “delivered 'Yesterday' like an American Idol contestant, hyping each verse as an escalation from breathy beginning to tearful, melismatic flourishes." OUCH! A poll asked viewers who "did it best" on the Beatles tribute, and John Mayer and Keith Urban scored the highest, with 36.84 percent of respondents picking them. Katy Perry had 4.05 percent of the vote! Katy Perry hasn’t commented.
It’s crazy to think that it’s been nearly three years since Adele released the album that made her a worldwide star. But even though she allowed her singing career to take a backseat to motherhood since then, it certainly hasn’t stopped Adele from making money! The 25-year-old raked in almost 50 million dollars last year as the royalties of her record-breaking release 21 continued to pour in. That’s a 65 per cent increase on the year before. Once you do the math, that means that Adele earns more than 52,000 dollars a day! It’s so odd to think that Adele, who was brought up by her mother in a flat above a south London shop, wrote 21 after breaking up with a boyfriend and no one had heard it. Now, it’s sold more than 26million copies worldwide, making it the second-best selling album in British history after The Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper. But in the past three years Adele has remained pretty quiet,. In 2011 she was forced to undergo surgery on damaged vocal chords, and the following year she gave birth to her son Angelo. She is now reportedly working on a third album which is expected to be released later this year.
