It's official! Congratulations to Jessica Simpson! She married her fiancé, Eric Johnson on a ranch in Santa Barbara California over the weekend! The couple released a statement saying, “We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives." Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson said “I do” in front of 250 people, including her sister Ashlee Simpson and celebrities like Jessica Alba and Cash Warren! Their son Ace was the ring bearer and their daughter Maxwell walked down the aisle as a flower girl! Sounds like such a cute ceremony!
Columbus Short is having a rough year. The Former Scandal star was busted AGAIN! This time he got arrested in Dallas over the weekend for public intoxication! Columbus Short was fighting with police officers and even called one of them an “Uncle Tom” when he was being arrested. It started because he was drinking way too much and got into a fight with a security guard! This comes just after being arrested earlier this year for domestic violence against his wife who filed for a divorce! Hopefully he gets his act together!
Does Robert Kardashian have a kid? That’s been the rumor for a while and now he’s coming clean! Robert Kardashian tweeted over the Fourth Of July weekend that he was spending the holiday with his son! He tweeted, “Happy I got my son with me for the 4th tomorrow! Can’t wait to watch fireworks with my little man! Hope everyone is safe!” But turns out it was all a joke! After a few hours he deleted the post and said, "Those who know me know I play and I do NOT have a son. Y'all got my mama emailing me asking if I have a son lol goodness hahaha. GOODnight." Not a fun joke!
It was a crazy weekend for the TV show Glee and some of it’s cast members! First it was with Chris Colfer who plays Kurt on the show. He tweeted from his Twitter account that he was leaving the show! The tweet said, “Due to personal issues I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly.” But it was deleted later and Fox released a statement, saying that his Twitter account was hacked. They also said that the rumors of him being fired are far from the truth!
Then it was Glee star Lea Michele that was hit after that! She had her Twitter account hacked and the “tweet” that went out said that she was pregnant had having a baby boy! Lea Michele JUST got into a new relationship after moving on from the death of her last boyfriend, Cory Monteith. So far there’s no idea who got into their accounts! But, the funny part is that Chris Colfer and Lea Michele joked that the hack was their fault because they both used their cat’s names as the Twitter password. Note to self… change my Twitter password today…
Joan Rivers started some trouble over the weekend! She wasn’t feeling very chatty during an interview with CNN’s Fredericka Whitfield and walked out of the interview! Joan Rivers was promoting her new book, Diary of a Mad Diva, when she didn’t like that Fredericka Whitfield said that Joan Rivers’ show “Fashion Police” was mean! Joan Rivers said, "It's not mean. I tell the truth. I'm sure I say the same things your viewers say to their friends sitting next to them on the couch." As more questions were asked, Joan Rivers got even angrier and said the whole interview was becoming defensive and told her interviewer to shut up and said she was leaving and pulled out her earpiece! I guess Joan Rivers can make people laugh by putting other people in the hot seat. Just don’t do it to her!
Think about this for a second. You turn your radio on every morning. What’s the song you feel like you hear ALL THE TIME? If you said Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” you would be correct! His song is the most played song on the radio for this year! In the first six months that it came out, it was played over 570,000 times. It reached 3.3 billion people. In second play is John Legend's song, "All of Me!" It reached 3.2 billion people! Rounding out your top three, Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse.” But thanks Pharrell, for keeping everyone “Happy” more than a billion times over
