3 Ways To Never Pay Full Price For Diapers Again

According to Consumer Reports, it will run you about $2,500 in Diapers until he or she  becomes potty trained.

I came across this story online today and wanted to share with all the parents who have Diaper expenses.

1. Sign up for sale and deal alerts from your favorite brands and retailers -- and follow them on social media. Don’t want to jam up your inbox? Set up a special email account for all your sale mail. And, if you have a favorite diaper brand, join the company’s awards program to get points, rewards, and exclusive deals.

2. Check out Amazon’s Warehouse Deals, where open-box diaper packages (wipes, too!) can be found on deep discount. Hint: if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can get free two-day delivery as well. Another hint: become an Amazon Mom Member for 20 percent off diapers and wipes.

3. Use generic or store brand diapers for day, brand names for night. Some parents see no difference between a generic diaper (which is almost always cheaper) and a name brand diaper, while others don’t think it’s worth the savings to have to deal with leakage. But, for older children who go through fewer diapers, or babies in child care during the day, try using the less expensive diapers before bedtime. If you try this switch and always, always use coupons (find them in newspapers, mailers, and online), it’s a small change that could lead to a bigger wallet.
